A threatening presence in the ring, boxing legend Jack Dempsey was a welcome sight in this 1936 Royal Crown Cola point-of-purchase ad display. Framed to 23-13/16 x 30-3/8”, the thick stock die cut display portrays product logos and Dempsey hawking the soft drink with the promise of autographed boxing gloves. That prize, of course, came at the cost a $1.25 plus 125 RC Cola bottle tops. The colorful item is affected by age-induced foxing, lower corner fissures and a lengthy crease along the bottle cap likeness. More on our website.
Also included is a “How To Box” booklet and RC bottle cap. The former was awarded in exchange for five bottle caps. The front cover is detached (but present) and the back cover is affected by major separation. The bottle cap still has its original cork lining.
