Description

Bidding adieu to their Flatbush faithful, their “Bums” moniker and seemingly annual October showdowns with the Yankees, the Brooklyn Dodgers played one final season at Ebbets Field and saw fit to autograph this team-issued souvenir baseball. The near-white orb (grade “7”) is decorated with (27) blue ballpoint pennings that average (“8-9”) potency with highlights including: Alston (manager, sweet spot), Campanella, Drysdale, Gilliam, Koufax (“7”), Newcombe, Podres, Reese and Roseboro. Full photo LOA from PSA/DNA. More on our website.

Sweet Spot Alston (manager); North Panel Kipp, Gentile, Collum, Roseboro, McDevitt and Craig; South Panel Labine, Campanella, Cimoli, Reese, Harris, Roebuck and Koufax (“7”); West Panel Valo, Pignatano, Bessent, R. Jackson, Newcombe, Gilliam and Walker; East Panel Drysdale Amoros, Kennedy and Snider (clubhouse); Reverse Sweet Spot Furillo and Podres.

The Snider signature is a clubhouse version rendered by long-time Dodger batboy Charlie DiGiovanna.
