Renowned sports artist and sculptor Fred Kail issued a variety of porcelain ceramic figures including a group honoring the 1958 champion Baltimore Colts defensive line. The Canadian Football League formed in 1958 was modeled after American football. Presented is a lot of (8) circa 1960 “Kail like” statues modeled after the lineman pieces produced by Kail. These colorful figures represent eight of the original nine CFL teams. Presenting in nice original condition these figures variously display minimal to moderate signs of paint wear and appear to be free of repairs. Measuring approximately 3x3x5 these pieces feature paint and decal details and are stamped “Japan” on the bottom.

The complete list of included figures with condition notes is as follows:

Montreal Alouettes, ALS decal on red & white uniform, light scattered flecks of paint wear
Saskatchewan (Western) Rough Riders, RIDERS decal on green uniform, light paint wear
Ottawa (Eastern) Rough Riders, RIDERS decal on red & white uniform, heavy paint wear
Hamilton Tiger-Cats, TICATS decal on black & brown uniform, light paint wear
Toronto Argonauts, ARGOS decal on blue & white uniform, moderate paint wear
