With every last light fixture, tunnel, pipe, concession stand and dugout accounted for, these (11) 1960 original blueprints detail the layout and amenities of Washington’s D.C. Stadium. Each is printed on a thin stock sheet measuring 42 x 30-1/2” with a drawn-to-scale diagram of the playing field (with designs for both baseball and football) and the seating bowl. Composed and presented to the District of Columbia Armory Board, the diagrams were engineered by George Dahl, Ewin Engineering Associates and The Osborn Company. In addition to listing the aforementioned details, the legend and numeric identifiers account for restrooms, freight and passenger elevators, plumbing and electricity. These are scarce relics with inherent value to the D.C. and stadium collector.
