Proudly showcasing Mary Pickersgill’s stars-and-stripes themed design that flew over Baltimore’s Fort McHenry and inspired our National Anthem, this vintage United States flag is a patriotic reminder of freedom and values that have endured for more than 200 years. Measuring 46 x 96”, the colorful fabric features horizontal “star” rows of eight, seven, eight, seven, eight, which dates the relic to 1876-1889 with the former date coinciding with Colorado’s admittance as the 38th state and the latter date representing the statehood of North and South Dakota. This particular flag displays nicely with a sturdy canvas spine and interior rope to facilitate display.
