Description

After a career defined by 4256 hits and an unwavering competitive spirit, Pete Rose is cited primarily for his gambling addiction and violation of Major League policy. Retained by the Commissioner’s Office to investigate Rose’s wagering history, John M. Dowd’s firm produced a 225-opage report that chronicled Rose’s unsavory activity. This voluminous copy of that report is signed on the front cover by its controversial subject. Executed in blue marker, Rose’s sizable autograph projects (“10”) strength and clarity. The spiral-bound document, meanwhile, contains telling content that details everything from Rose's wagering on thoroughbred racing, basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. Basic cert/sticker from JSA.
