With three Hall of Famers and a former Cy Young Award winner on the roster, the 1963 Pittsburgh Pirates contended though mid-July before enduring a 28-45 swoon. This ONL Giles baseball is autographed by those Bucs. The creamy orb (grade “8”) is home to (26) blue ballpoint scriptings that average (“5”) strength (with a few nicer). In its occupancy of the west panel, the coveted signature of Roberto Clemente shows (“4”) quality in its familiar “two-tier” style. Other notables include Face, Haddix, Mazeroski and Stargell. Full photo LOA from JSA. More on our website.

Note: a few unidentified signatures were added to this otherwise completed ball. Among the verified signatures are: Sweet Spot Murtaugh (clubhouse); North Panel Pagliaroni, Brand, Lynch, Schofield, Savage and Stargell (“3” strength); South Panel Oceak (coach), Bailey, Burgess and Logan; West Panel Face, Mazeroski, Haddix, McBean, Veale, Virdon and Clemente; East Panel Mota, Cardwell and Friend.
