Description

Denied an AAFC franchise for failure to secure a venue, the Baltimore Colts sat out the circuitís inaugural season and promptly replaced the fledgling Miami Seahawks in 1947. These (7) programs were issued during the debut campaign of the first-ever Colts installment. With covers and pages intact throughout, the guides hail from the clubís Waverly-based Memorial Stadium home, as well as from a road game at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Complete listing on our website.

September 7 vs. Brooklyn Dodgers issued at Memorial Stadium, this 28-page guide presents (EX) and is a well-preserved keepsake from the first-ever game and win by a Baltimore Colts franchise. The front cover features an artistís rendition of Brooklynís Glenn Dobbs. Off to an auspicious start, the Colts won by what would eventually prove to be an ironic 16-7 score (the same tally of an NFL title contest thatís best forgotten in Baltimore).
