With the release of “Space Jam,” Warner Bros.’ “Looney Tunes” enjoyed a popularity revival in the mid-1990s. Catering to a new cult following, renowned designer Jeff Hamilton tailored and marketed this reversible leather jacket. All the rage upon its release, this black leather (snap) button-down garment features colorful accents of purple, red and yellow. The back is home to a sizable “LOONEY TUNES” display in the traditional font with leather portrayals of Bugs, Porky, Daffy, Sylvester, Road Runner and, of course, Taz. A size “L” tag resides within the left front pocket. The yellow satin interior has a dual purpose as both a liner and material for the reversible side which, displayed as the back, showcases “LOONEY TUNES” in red-on-black leather “shadowed” characters. A pristine example of a jacket that originally retailed for $1000, this one shows no wear and does not appear to have been laundered.
