While his accomplishments as the youthful lead singer for the Jackson 5 and solo “Off the Wall” endeavor were more than most superstars could ever realize, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album surpassed all of his earlier works and placed him as pop’s most successful act. Written by Quincy Jones in the creative sense, a few lines of the 1983 mega-hit “Billie Jean” were hand-written in the literal sense by "The King of Pop" on this unlined white paper. On an otherwise-blank 8-1/2 x 11” sheet, Jackson has written in black felt tip: “Billie Jean is not my lover she’s just a girl who claims that I am the one the kids (sic) is not my son.” At the conclusion, Jackson’s signature trumpets “perfect 10” strength and clarity. A remarkable collectible from one of the most influential artists ever. Full photo LOA from JSA.
