Description

Preceding the Dodgers as the first professional sports franchise to land in Southern California, the Los Angeles Rams were an immediate hit at the spacious Coliseum. The club’s popularity is evidenced by this 1950s Gibbs-Connor bank. Crafted from porcelain, the 8-1/2”-tall novelty showcases a football-toting Ram figurine with a slanted football serving as the depository. The rectangular base has white yard line markers. Free of any surface flaws, this example retains its brilliant colors and stands as one of the most impeccably preserved relics from the Cleveland-based manufacturer.
