One-third of the vaunted trio on board for the entirety of the Yankees’ run of 16 postseason appearances, seven pennants and five World Series titles over the last 17 years, recently retired backstop Jorge Posada was issued and autographed this Louisville Slugger “M356” signature model weapon as the club garnered its 39th American League title in 2003. The (33.2-oz/34-1/2”) white ash lumber is decorated with Posada’s black marker signature and inscription of “20,” which project (“8”) strength and clarity between the center brand and barrel stampings. Uncracked, the bat shows nice use with ball and surface marks throughout. Among the marks are ink transfers from OML baseballs. A moderate coat of pine tar extends to the center brand and tape ringlets are adhered to the lower portion of the handle. Auction LOA from PSA/DNA (for bat only).
