The lone “30-30” player in the storied archives of the Boston Red Sox, outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury brandished this Louisville Slugger “E55M” (29.1-oz/33.5”) block-letter model weapon during the 2008 season. The white ash lumber showcases a glossy black “Smith” finish accented by a silver-colored center brand and barrel stampings. Graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA, the bat shows excellent game use with ball, cleat and stitch marks about the barrel, as well as grain swelling on the hitting surface. The handle is home to a moderate coat of Mota Stick and an H-shaped crack of just over eight inches. In silver marker, Jacoby’s former uniform number “46” is inscribed on both the knob and cupped end. Full photo LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.

Adhered to the barrel are holograms from both Steiner Sports and MLB, with the latter authenticating the bat as being used and cracked in the August 30, 2008 game between the Red Sox and White Sox.
